Bomb Scare

Last night I was in my room and I kept hearing Announcments over the base announcment system. It was very garbled,
but I could just make out the words "Sijan" and "Evacuate"
I figured if it was important they would broadcast through the hallway speakers.

It was a bomb scare.
They evacuated all of Sijan Hall for an hour and a half.
Fortunately I life in Vandenburg Hall,
So it didn’t affect me.
There was suspicious package found inside.

This what happened.
A fourth classmen was putting his paintball stuff in the storage room.
On the way, he set the package down and forgot about it.
Regulations say that to put something in storage it must have your last name and class on it.
Cadet Fourth Class is abbreviated C4C,
Which looks suspiciously close to C4.
To top it of,
The cadets last name is Boom.
So the box had “C4C BOOM” written all over it.

I give up,
Who?

TheEarthCanBeMoved said...

I'll be here for four years.

They issue M-14s,
Why would paintball be unauthorized?
We just have to get the proper paper work filled out.
And we can't shoot each other with the real things.

Well, you could. But not for long.

Looks like Cas or Mrs. Steph..

Perhaps it is a relative?

TheEarthCanBeMoved said...

I haven't got any relatives in Texas.
It might be Cas or Mrs. Steph.

That is pretty funny! Though I really can't see anything like that happening at my non-military university. People are just to laid back in Arkansas to get all worked up about bomb threats. Instead the administration gets worked up about the students who remove the removable speed bumps and put them in front of the President's driveway.

I think they're only concerned because we're expensive.
They say when we're done.
We're worth over $300,000 in education alone.
It's depressing talking about yourself like a peice of merchandise.

We do stuff like that here too.
Last week,
The Superintendent
(A Three-Star General)
Found that a couple of cadets had moved his car to the top of Spirit Hill.

Who are you
and
How did you find my blog?
There've been something like three people I don't know that have posted here.

Lol Jason I would say that you are worth way more than 300 K between all the money that got put into because you were homeschooled and your boyscout background LoL so maybe 400 K?

To bad that value doesn't flow over to what they call a "Pay Check".
Officially, they give us $820.20.
Realistically,
We see about $100 on a good month.

I'm glad I'm avalue to someone,
Even if it is only entertainment value.
LOL
